Edward Files bio:

Edward J. Files was born in Great Bend, Kansas in 1948. He now lives in Apache Junction, Arizona. He is a former Marine Corps Sgt., disabled Vietnam era veteran with 69 years of life experience.  He is most proud to announce his appointment to the Leadership Board of A3 Tutors, LLC. a new startup designed to fill the gap between classroom instruction and student learning. He has two Associate degrees in computer sciences, Graphic Studies and System Analysis. He has a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Phoenix and a Masters of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University, Ken Blanchard School of business. His most current degree, upon completion of his dissertation, is a Doctorate in Education, Ed.D. in Leadership Development, with a concentration in Organizational Development with a 3.85 GPA. He has certifications as a Certified Grant Proposal Writer (CGPW), Certified Teacher Trainer (CTT) and Systems Analysis for Practice Management (SAPM). He is also a Professional Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Dr. Files is the 2005 All USA Academic 1st Team nominee, 2005 All Arizona Academic 1st Team representative, 2005 Arizona Economics Student of the Year, National-Coca-Cola Scholarship Recipient, National Deans list and Who’s Who in American Colleges and is rated in the upper ½ of 1% of all college students nationally and a member of Phi Theta Kappa, International Honor Society. Additionally, he is a member of Delta Mu Delta, Business Administration Students International Honor Society and rated in the upper 10% of students Internationally. He is an expert author of 216 live online educational/how-to articles on numerous business and franchising topics with a viewer audience of 320,000 plus readers.

He is an active supporter of social and environmental reform, such as; World Wildlife Federation (WWF), People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and Greenpeace. Additionally, he is an active member in Repower America, Sierra Club, Defenders of Wild Life, Consumers Union, CREDO, CAUSES and NORMAL, to name just a few. He strongly believes that our current U.S. school system is deleterious to pedagogy.
